Information

Our book discusses many different areas in which people are treated unfairly or even discriminated against. Twenty children between the ages of eight and ten describe how their life is different to that of their classmates and other kids of their age. The individual children‘s stories are told in the form of journal entries written by each of them. Some topics that were especially important to us while writing the book were family, acceptance, comfort, security and inclusion, which is why „Little Warriors, Big Hearts“ discusses those themes in a child friendly manner. The achievement we hope to make with this book is, that people realise there are more ways to live life than one might realise and there is no right or wrong way to be. All people in this world should have the possibility to create their lives the way they want or need to.
